about

πŸŽΉπŸ‘©πŸ½β€βš–οΈ If you make all your tracks in the same key, they'll transition smoothly from one phase to the next. That's even better as a metaphor for life, wherein thematically-connected elements build on earlier strengths, sparking surprise tangents which lead us to that next great delight β€” all we can do is curate the serendipity.

Contained within are four more delights: the progressive escalation of "Baroque Breathing" which recalls being half-asleep in an indie cinema with the images flickering across your eyelids, the spacious arrangement of "Chillax Division" with its bouncy analogue bassline, "Phatassm" which apparently has wordplay for a title and some vocal snippet about being in love, and the title track which made me feel like rediscovering a long-worn habit all over again. Maybe it'll do the same for you, too.

about

TORLEY πŸ‰πŸŽΉ Seattle, Washington

I make sonic science fiction: short sound stories with massive melodies and vibrant arrangements. I’ve discovered them from alternate realities, in an ongoing research project to expand the edges of expressive electronic music.
