Friendly greetings! I am TORLEY. I make sonic science fiction: short sound stories with massive melodies and vibrant arrangements. I’ve discovered them from alternate realities, in an ongoing research project to expand the edges of expressive electronic music.

Watermelon Visions is a curiously curated compilation inspired by some of my favorite literary works. Orbiting around that general theme are a diverse array of soundscapes to discover — from live breakbeat jams weaved around a core of piano chords, to granular ambience that'll warm your ears like a heated blanket, to daring aural adventures that are equal parts "accessible" AND "experimental". True to my trademark style, maximizing the most of 2 minutes apiece, pay attention for memorable moments like virtuosic solos, cascading arpeggios, cartoony boings, and retro-chiptune-klangfarbenmelodie.

Almost 8 years after my last formal release on Bandcamp, it's great to be back. I invite you to my Watermelon Visions: dive into this feast of neon pink + green slices... and savor!
